Adventure!!!

Ok, so I've spent an entire day in York now and must say that I can do this forever. The time is 16:57 now and I just got out of class with Terry O'Connor. Sitting at Starbucks having my dinner, which cost me no more than #7, for  grilled sandwich and a really huge mug of cappichino. This sandwich is really good!! Looking out the window in front of me is the Minster building. The most amazing building I have ever seen in what seems to be Gothic architecture.

So class today was alright, my first class was easy. I can see myself sailing through it fairly smoothly, O'Connor's class on the other hand...such  bore and a huge challenge for me. What would life be without them anyway...

They say the weather here is a tad bit crazy, but I think I got it figured out. Just like back home, cold in the morning, warmer as the day progresses, and freezing at night. Then again it is only their autumn here, which I find to being the equivalent to a South African winter. Shops are really cool up here, everything everywhere!! I got lost on my way to Kings Manor this morning walking through the city center, but hey...adventure!!! Still trying to settle in,but York is a tourist attraction so I don't really feel out of place. I just wish all my family and mates could be here with me. Then my almost perfect life will start to take shape. Right now its just not there yet.

Its getting a bit dark out,but still safe to walk around. In fact there re loads of people all about. I just hope I can be happy here. The original text to this blog ventures deeper into my feelings of why I left home and the void I'm hoping it will fill, but that is an entry for another day, another blog.

Got horribly lost on the way back home. I ended up being on the opposite end of town from the place I'm staying at. Passed by  police car, felt safe until I saw the wanted for murder poster on the back of the car! Well at least I bumped into a hottie on the RIGHT way home this time, it was so random. Could hardly understand what he was saying most of the time, but hey he was really cute. Besides I was kinda distracted by his looks, I think at one point I was staring at his lips. In my defense I was trying to figure out what he was saying to me by lip reading ;)
